Fish & Chips At The Beach

We are fortunate in that we live a stones throw away from Melbourne's CBD. So if we want to traipse into the city for lunch it's just a five minute drive by car or a ten minute train ride. We're also blessed in that the beach is just a fifteen minute car ride from home.

So late this morning after tossing several ideas around as to what to do and where to go for lunch, we finally decided on having fish and chips at Williamstown beach. It was a little chilly to eat our lunch on the beach so we decided to have our fish and chips at The Rotunda instead.

After we stuffed ourselves senseless we then decided to walk off our meal on the beach. Hoover and Fussy built sandcastles, tossed stones into the water and drew in the sand with sticks, whilst Huxley and I lay on the sand like two beached whales and silently gazed at the crashing waves, storm clouds and our glorious children.
